On November 22, 2024, we welcomed a delegation of media experts from Sweden to the Babelsberg media location. To kick things off, our Community & Partner Manager, Luise Schröter, presented the MediaTech Hub Potsdam and the Babelsberg media location in more detail at the UFA premises.
Afterwards, three start-ups from our Accelerator program, both current and former participants, presented their companies and projects. Julian Zietemann, CEO of 2Sync, Kristian Müller, CEO of Radiozeit and Bob van der Meij, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Sensit! gave exciting insights into their work. After the presentations, the Swedish delegation took the opportunity to talk to the founders and ask questions.
The delegation then visited the Studio Babelsberg site, where Elizabete Vindule-Mince, Junior Marketing Manager at Volucap, presented the company’s volumetric technology. This tour gave the guests a direct view of the innovative solutions on site and led to a stimulating dialog about current developments in the media industry. Our guests were particularly impressed by the enormous importance of combining AI with volumetric technology.
We would like to thank the HPI D-School and the Hasso-Plattner-Institute for the opportunity for this exchange. The visit has once again shown how valuable international networking and direct dialog between players in the media industry are for the further development of the location. We look forward to continuing the exchange we have begun with our Swedish guests.
