On 27 May 2025, the MediaTech Hub Potsdam welcomed a delegation of 16 company representatives from Mongolia, whose visit was jointly organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Gisma University of Applied Sciences.
After a brief welcome coffee in the MTH Space at the UFA, Héline Dedier, Community & Partner Manager of the hub, gave a concise overview of the Potsdam ecosystem of start-ups, research institutions and funding programs, which supports young technology companies from the idea to international scaling.
Nils Karn then presented his cloud security start-up Mitigant and demonstrated how its platform proactively tests and strengthens the resilience of cloud infrastructures with security chaos engineering and what the company claims is the world’s first comprehensive cloud attack emulation.
In the open pitch & networking format that followed, the Mongolian guests – including companies from the IT services, e-commerce, energy tech and creative industries – introduced themselves individually and discussed potential cooperation and market entry strategies for Germany and Europe with founders from Potsdam.
