Gründer:innen der ersten Kohorte des MTH Accelerators 2026

From dubbing to AI avatars: These startups are part of the MTH Accelerator 2026

One location, ten teams, and plenty of disruptive ideas for the media industry: The first cohort of the MTH Accelerator for 2026 has officially launched in Potsdam. The kickoff and the subsequent deep-dive session marked the start of an intensive, nine-month program in which participating startups will learn to develop scalable business models for the media and creative industries from early-stage product ideas.

These are the startups in the first cohort of 2026

Ten startups are part of the first cohort. Their business models cover a wide range of areas, from SaaS solutions and automated content production to edtech. Here’s an overview:

Skillbid.io: Connecting learners with experts through a dynamic bidding system for flexible, demand-driven knowledge transfer.

Lulaa Technologies: Translating visual expertise into real-world workflows – like Instagram for business use.

GRIMM Entertainment: AI-powered production pipelines to test, develop, and validate film and TV series ideas more quickly.

emori GmbH: A digital space filled with voices, videos, and stories where families can preserve their memories.

clearlea.se: AI-powered data pipelines that address operational challenges in real estate management and deliver fast, validated insights from complex contract data.

creamlabs AI: An AI SaaS platform that enables businesses to create text, images, and videos, as well as automate workflows using advanced generative AI models.

An energetic start to the accelerator

The day began with an introduction to the MediaTech and de:hub ecosystem, followed immediately by a hands-on session: Each of the ten startups presented its idea in a concise 3-minute pitch. In the afternoon, there was a deep-dive session with sales expert and coach Jamaine Pulat, who focused on structured discovery calls and translating product benefits into clear business impact.

Amid coffee, whiteboards, and lively discussions, it quickly became clear: This cohort isn’t just bringing ideas to the table—they’re bringing a clear commitment to rethinking entire industries.

MediaTech: Strong momentum from Brandenburg

With the launch of this cohort, the MediaTech Hub Potsdam is once again demonstrating the growing potential of new media technologies from Germany. The accelerator not only provides a space for product development, but also for collaboration, validation, and international scaling.

We can’t wait to see how the journey unfolds!
