Under the motto “Zukunft.Nachhaltig.Gestalten”, the call for entries for the Brandenburg Innovation Award 2025 was launched at the end of January and is aimed at companies, research institutions, SMEs, craft businesses and start-ups that develop innovative and sustainable projects.
Applications can be submitted from now until March 28, 2025 at 12 noon via the website www.brandenburger-innovationspreis.de.
With total prize money of up to 30,000 euros, the Innovation Award not only offers financial support, but also the opportunity to present your own project to a network of business, science and the media. The aim is to promote solutions that contribute to the future viability and resilience of Brandenburg as a business location through innovative products, processes and services.
Minister of Economic Affairs Daniel Keller emphasizes the importance of the competition:
“The competition strengthens Brandenburg’s future viability and promotes the inventive spirit of our region. The projects submitted impressively demonstrate how innovations can drive both economic progress and ecological sustainability.”
The projects will be evaluated by an independent jury of experts who will assess the entries based on the level of innovation, sustainability, market maturity and value creation for the state of Brandenburg. The award ceremony will take place on July 10, 2025 in a festive setting at the “Startblock B2” start-up center on the BTU Cottbus campus.
The Innovation Award offers innovative minds the chance to put their forward-looking ideas in the spotlight and actively contribute to Brandenburg’s sustainable development. Interested parties can find all the details about the application process and the conditions of participation on the official website.
Take this opportunity to promote your visions and make Brandenburg sustainable!
