Date: Application Deadline: February 1, 2026 (Project Period: April – June 2026) Location: Hasso Plattner Institute / Hybrid Format: Call for Applications / Pilot Project
What is it about? The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) invites organizations to apply for a guided pilot phase to develop AI solutions. Over a structured three-month period (including preparation), you will create a functioning AI prototype in collaboration with the HPI AI Service Center. The HPI team will provide intensive support, dedicating 2–3 days per week to assist with the technical implementation. The goal is to test feasible AI applications and build a solid foundation for future deployment.
For whom? This call is aimed at startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large corporations, and public institutions that are ready to integrate AI technologies and have access to organized, digitized data.
Prerequisites The key requirement is an “Open Source” mindset: You must be willing to make the results (datasets, models, or code) generated from the project available to the public. Furthermore, the objective should be a prototype, not an immediate production-ready solution.
Registration Applications are open until February 1, 2026.
