The Brandenburg Design Award is entering its next round! Since August 1, 2025, designers, agencies, companies, and clients based in Brandenburg have been able to submit their work for the prestigious state award.
Submission deadline is October 18, 2025
The award recognizes outstanding achievements in the following areas:
Product design / industrial design
Communication design
Digital design, UX/UI, game design
With prize money totaling €25,000, the state of Brandenburg honors creative excellence and innovative design. The award is open not only to completed projects, but also to concepts and prototypes by young designers.
Important: Manufacturers and clients can also submit entries. It is sufficient if one of the parties involved, whether creative or client, is based in Brandenburg. If both are based here, even better!
With the Brandenburg Design Award, the Brandenburg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, Energy, and Climate Protection is recognizing outstanding work, projects, and concepts in the field of design for the fourteenth time.
With this competition, the Ministry of Economic Affairs aims to highlight the capabilities of the state’s design industry and help raise awareness of design as a driver of innovation, a source of inspiration, and a competitive factor for Brandenburg’s economy.
