The MediaTech Hub Potsdam is the umbrella under which we bundle our community, projects and activities. They are all connected and interlinked – be it in our start-up programs such as the MTH Accelerator or the MTH Space as well as our annual conference. In everything we do, we pursue our goal of driving the MediaTech ecosystem forward and shaping a more efficient, inclusive and creative future.
Both programmes are equity-free, combining personalised coaching with a strong network of experts and investors to help startups reach their next milestone.

Be it through sound, voice, image or moving image – media technologies such as virtual and mixed reality, animation, streaming, volumetrics, voice assistance and image recognition play the main role for us – regardless of vertical or industry.
The MediaTech Hub Potsdam is the only digital hub in Germany with a focus on MediaTech. It makes media technology innovations from Potsdam visible, strengthens entrepreneurship and connects players from the network and beyond (CONNECT!).
Developing MediaTech ideas and business models (DEVELOP!) – this is what the MTH Accelerator encourages young founders to do. He is the sparring partner for start-up teams in the early phase. The program was initiated by the Hasso Plattner Institute, the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and the University of Potsdam.
We have created affordable office space for start-ups in Potsdam in the heart of the media city of Babelsberg. The start-ups become part of the MediaTech Hub Potsdam community and gain valuable access to networks from the media and digital world, research and teaching as well as the start-up scene. In the MTH Space, ideas and innovations are actually realized (DO!).
Media technologies pave the way for every business. At the MTH Conference, we bring together new ideas and business models, international perspectives and pioneering applications to think ahead together (THINK!). The MediaTech Hub Conference is the only B2B event in Germany that focuses on media technologies.
In our digitalized world, knowledge transfer is a key factor for the ability to innovate and therefore for the success of companies. The MTH Innovator sees itself as an enabler and creates the framework conditions so that MediaTech innovations can be used in SMEs (MOVE!).
