We would like to officially welcome two more startup partners to the MediaTech Hub Potsdam community: Can Post This and Jay. By joining the MTH Potsdam as a startup partner, the companies are also part of the Digital Hub Initiative network, which allows them to benefit not only from access to our community and customized matchmaking, but also from the opportunity to participate in international trade fairs and events as part of the de:hub initiative.
About Can Post This
CanPostThis was founded in 2024 and is a platform for verifying, analyzing and evaluating news. CanPostThis enables fact-based decisions by systematically and methodically verifying the veracity of news, news sources, social media posts and social media sources.
About Jay
Jay is the provider of a globally innovative technology for streaming services and broadcasters. With shoppable content and in-stream infotainment, Jay is changing the way viewers interact with and consume content. The seamless, scene-specific integration of additional information into shows gives viewers more information about the cast, music or costumes of their favorite shows on demand. They can also purchase similar products directly during the program without having to leave the platform.
Broadcasters, streaming services and online retailers thus strengthen viewer loyalty, receive detailed user data on the interests of their target groups and tap into additional sources of revenue. In cooperation with the streaming service RTL+, the online platform Zalando and the production company UFA, Jay 2024 introduced shoppable content for the first time on RTL+ in the hit format “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten” in Germany.
Jay was founded in 2022 and is a service of transfermedia, a media technology company based in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
