At the recent networking event of the de:hub initiative, the 25 hubs from across Germany gathered at the TechQuartier in Frankfurt. Our CEO, Peter Effenberg, attended on behalf of the MediaTech Hub Potsdam to share experiences and discuss the next strategic steps.
The meeting focused on regional knowledge transfer and the strengthening of innovation ecosystems. A key element of the programme was the direct dialogue with policymakers. Discussions with Parliamentary State Secretaries Gitta Connemann and Thomas Jarzombek covered the framework conditions for startups, SMEs and the digital transformation. We would like to thank both of them for their time and attention.
This close exchange demonstrates once again how vital strong connections between the hubs are. By pooling our expertise, we open up access to new markets and generate momentum that extends well beyond individual regions.
Many thanks to everyone involved for the candid discussions, the hospitality and the excellent organisation. Peter is taking plenty of fresh ideas back to Babelsberg and we are already looking forward to the next meeting.
