Exchange, new perspectives, and shared goals: on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, a delegation from Wales visited Babelsberg to exchange ideas with local stakeholders about the future of the film and media industry.
Together with Studio Babelsberg AG and the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency (WFBB), we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome a Welsh delegation to the media city.

Following an open dialogue and fascinating insights into the work of the Welsh innovation initiative Media Cymru, an exclusive tour of the Studio Babelsberg lot provided the perfect setting. Here, personal exchange and shared perspectives took centre stage.

Encounters like the visit from Wales are essential if we want to not only rethink but actively shape the future of the media industry together.
