About the Event: Are you looking to develop your own AI applications or attend our advanced workshops, but lack experience with the necessary developer tools and technical environments? In this workshop, we will establish the technical foundations for your success.
Together, we will set up your complete AI development environment step-by-step. We will install and configure essential tools such as Visual Studio Code, Python and UV, Docker, and Ollama (including WSL for Windows users). You will learn how to work with the command line and receive direct support from our AI engineers to resolve any error messages. Additionally, we will introduce you to working with GitHub—from cloning repositories to best practices for stable and reproducible development environments.
Prerequisites:
- Programming knowledge or the willingness to learn.
- Please bring your own laptop (preferably macOS or Linux; Windows is also possible).
- You must have administrator rights to install software on your device.
