We are delighted to welcome PHONT as a startup partner to the MediaTech Hub Potsdam community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine a comic book coming to life – that’s PHONT! Using AI and innovative design, the young company brings subtitles to life so that they convey not only words but also emotions. In this way, they create new, exciting opportunities for content creators and media companies and inspire millions of potential subtitle users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PHONT was founded in 2023 and pursues the vision of taking inclusion and immersion in the media industry to a new level. Through automated, creative subtitle design, the technology enables a more authentic reproduction of spoken language and thus addresses a problem that has received little attention to date: when speech is transferred to text, essential information such as emotions, dialects and intonation is lost. PHONT expands this one-sided text representation to enable more diversity and cultural participation – especially for people who are dependent on subtitles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through its membership as a startup partner at MTH Potsdam, Phont is also part of the Digital Hub Initiative<\/a> network, which allows them to benefit not only from access to our community and customized matchmaking, but also from the opportunity to participate in international trade fairs and events as part of the de:hub initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
