A week ago, from October 10 – 14, 2022, the Digital Hub Initiative presented the German start-up ecosystem in Dubai for the first time at North Star<\/a>, the start-up fair of GITEX GLOBAL. The teams Feelbelt<\/a>, Klangchat <\/a>and yoona.ai<\/a> from the MediaTech Hub Potsdam were there and were able to present themselves alongside leading technology companies from the Middle East, Asia and Africa. We are happy for our teams for this unique experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights: Supernova Challenge, Matchmaking and new acquaintances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the pitch competition “Supernova Challenge”, Klangchat was one of the finalists in the Blockchain category. We congratulate the team on this great success! The Supernova Challenge is the largest pitch competition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other highlights included attending a matchmaking event organised by the German-Emirati Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK)<\/a>, on the 73rd! floor, as well as welcoming the Private Office of Sheikh in Ahmed Al Maktoum to the Digital Hub Initiative stand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GITEX Technology Week is a must-attend event in Dubai – the world’s fastest growing technology hub – and is held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Since its inception in 1981, visionaries and technology pioneers have come to Dubai to see the technology that is leading the digital transformation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Star Dubai <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Star Dubai, formerly known as GITEX Future Stars, is an annual event for technology startups at the Dubai World Trade Center. As a strategic part of GITEX GLOBAL, North Star showcases startups to technology industry professionals from more than 70 countries worldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also features several conferences across nine stages, including the 10x Stage, Pitch Stage, Spotlight Stage, Rising Stage, Marketing Mania, Creative Economy, Youth X, Blockchain Stage and Fintech Stage, and a pitch competition called Supernova Challenge with a prize purse of US$200,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
